Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 plus bonus and benefits

CDM Life Sciences are pleased to partner with a leading provider of research models and services dedicated to advancing scientific discovery and innovation. We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join their team and drive revenue growth for their Research products and services across southern regions in the UK.

•Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for Research Models and Services (RMS) products and services within the designated geographical region.
•Collaborate with sales and management teams to increase market share and revenue spend at assigned accounts.
•Develop account-specific sales strategies to promote all company products and services.
•Prepare accurate account forecasts and track achievements versus goals.
•Qualify account leads through customer contact and prospecting.
•Build relationships with customers to influence the acceptance and use of company products and services.
•Communicate product information and inform customers of new offerings.
•Collaborate with specialist sales staff to ensure a cohesive and responsive sales process.
•Implement a comprehensive territory management plan to identify target opportunities and potential new accounts.
•Utilise CRM to capture customer information and complete sales documentation.
•Participate in sales meetings and trade shows as required.

•Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in life sciences, sales, or related discipline.
•Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the life science industry.
•Direct working experience with Laboratory Rodent Animal Models is mandatory.
•Valid driver’s license required.
•Excellent communication and presentation skills.
•Proficient in standard office computer applications.
