We are seeking an experienced candidate for this role as a Regional Sales Manager for an outstanding company in the Water industry. The Company has an excellent reputation in the industry; its products and solutions use the latest technologies and innovation to facilitate efficient management of the UK’s waste-water and clean water networks.
Regional Sales Manager – Benefits Package
- A starting salary of between £55,000 and £60,000 pa related to skills and experience

Regional Sales Manager - Role overview
- Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
- Managing and interpreting customer requirements
- Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs
- Calculating client quotations
- Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
- Offering after-sales support services including technical support
- Administering client accounts
- Analysing costs and sales
- Meeting regular sales targets
- Recording and maintaining client contact data
- Co-ordinating sales projects
- Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
- Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product/service will meet client needs
Regional Sales Manager – Candidate requirements
- Proven experience in the clean or waste-water sector is preferred
- Candidates who currently work for a Water company will be seriously considered
- Candidates with no sales experience but have a strong technical/mechanical/project management water industry background will also be seriously considered and any necessary training would be given
- You should be willing to travel regularly spending on average 2 nights per week away from home
- A relevant qualification is preferred e.g. HND or Degree in a related discipline
- Sound technical knowledge
- You must be adaptable due to the reactive nature of the business.
- Sound judgement and good business sense
- The ability to build relationships with clients quickly
- You will have excellent customer facing skills and be happy in a role that will require travel to client sites as and when required.
- A full UK driving licence
