£55,000 - £60,000/annum + car/fuel card + full benefits

We are seeking an experienced candidate for this role as a Regional Sales Manager for an outstanding company in the Water industry.  The Company has an excellent reputation in the industry; its products and solutions use the latest technologies and innovation to facilitate efficient management of the UK’s waste-water and clean water networks.

Regional Sales Manager – Benefits Package

Regional Sales Manager - Role overview

  • Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements
  • Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs
  • Calculating client quotations
  • Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
  • Offering after-sales support services including technical support
  • Administering client accounts
  • Analysing costs and sales
  • Meeting regular sales targets
  • Recording and maintaining client contact data
  • Co-ordinating sales projects
  • Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product/service will meet client needs

Regional Sales Manager – Candidate requirements

  • Proven experience in the clean or waste-water sector is preferred
  • Candidates who currently work for a Water company will be seriously considered
  • Candidates with no sales experience but have a strong technical/mechanical/project management water industry background will also be seriously considered and any necessary training would be given
  • You should be willing to travel regularly spending on average 2 nights per week away from home
  • A relevant qualification is preferred e.g. HND or Degree in a related discipline
  • Sound technical knowledge
  • You must be adaptable due to the reactive nature of the business.
  • Sound judgement and good business sense
  • The ability to build relationships with clients quickly
  • You will have excellent customer facing skills and be happy in a role that will require travel to client sites as and when required.
  • A full UK driving licence
