Well established supplier and refurbisher of pipeline equipment to the pharmaceutical, petrochemical and allied industries.seek an energetic individual to join their busy team.
Duties include dealing with customer enquiries (by phone and email) for products and repair/refurbishment services, pricing products and services and providing quotations, taking and processing orders clearly and entering them accurately on the company system, sourcing products, negotiating with suppliers and placing purchase orders, visiting customers (occasionally) to deliver products, discuss new projects and resolve problems, liaising with engineering services team and proactively contacting lapsed customers with a view to restoring them to the client base.
Our client requires a bright and confident individual with well-developed spoken and written communication skills who has worked in a customer facing, sales related role. Additional duties include a technical aptitude with a reasonable understanding of mechanical engineering products, good attention to detail and a thorough appreciation of delivering a high level of customer service.
The role would suit an individual who thrives in a small company environment with an open, friendly atmosphere.
