A leading British manufacturer of equipment to the medical, cosmetic and beauty industries is looking for a Business Development Consultant to join their exciting and growing business. As a Business Development Consultant, you will work in a field-based sales role supplying medical grade equipment to the industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Business Development Consultant your key duties will include:

• Visiting businesses to demonstrate products and win new business
• Negotiating variations in price, specifications, and delivery
• Producing and submitting quotations for customers
• Creating material for the purposes of improving conversion
• Managing existing customers, maintaining relationships and securing continued business
• Attending and assisting with trade shows and exhibitions
• Producing and reporting accurate territory sales forecasts

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be considered for the role of Business Development Consultant, you must have:

• 3+ years field sales experience within a medical, aesthetics or clinical organisation.
• Experience working in aesthetics/beauty industry is desirable
• A full and clean UK driving license
• Experience of working to and surpassing targets, closing sales and creating opportunities.
• A consultative sales style/ approach.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport.
• The ability to understand and interpret complex technical and clinical information, communicating this effectively to customers.
