Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Internal Sales to lead our sales team and drive our company's revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, a strategic mindset, and the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing sales team. This role requires a strong understanding of market dynamics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and execute the overall sales strategy to meet the company's revenue and growth objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Set clear sales targets and KPIs, and monitor the performance of the sales team to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
- Market Analysis and Planning:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
- Develop and implement effective sales plans and strategies to capture market share and drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and client satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Sales Operations:
- Oversee the development and implementation of sales processes, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyse sales metrics and performance data to make informed business decisions.
- Manage the sales budget, including forecasting and expense management.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Head of Sales, Sales Director, or similar leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to travel as needed.
