Due to exciting expansion and growth plans we are recruiting for an Experienced Business Development Executive / Consultant to join RJS, based in the Newquay office. Flexibility as to whether Full or Part time contract and option for a hybrid option will also be considered. However, would need to be able to commit to working from the office on a regular basis.

The role will developing various streams of revenue with cold and prospects clients offering recruitment services including support in further development of the overseas arm of our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Gaining a thorough understanding of the business so best equipped to contribute to the development of client base and achieve targets in place.
  • Using a variety of methods alongside the marketing activity in place to secure new contracts, including cold calling, following up leads, building relationships with industry related associations, attending networking events and LinkedIn.
  • Researching potential new leads and identify business opportunities.
  • Working with other teams and colleagues to help align offerings with the needs of clients.
  • All associated administrative tasks such as utilising CRM, recording progress and following sales cycle to convert leads.
  • Keeping up to date with industry developments
  • Some Adhoc recruitment consultant tasks as and when required.
  • Meeting and achieving targets and KPI’s in place.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in a business development / sales executive capacity and confident in handling the whole sales process.
  • Would be highly advantageous to have previous recruitment experience but for the right candidate this is not essential.
  • Driving license and own transport
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and spoken, able to converse professionally by phone, email and in person.
  • Able to work in a pressured sales environment, confident handling objections and negotiations.
  • Target driven and selfmotivated.
  • Team player but equally able to work on own initiative.
