Our client is a well established manufacturing company specialising in the supply of decorative and protective industrial finishes for wood, metal, glass, and plastics. 

They have a new business plan and are looking for talented people to help achieve their objectives in continuing to deliver innovation and quality in both products and services to their customers.  To support this growth, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an Regional Sales Manager to be based ideally close to the M1 in Yorkshire.
 
Regional Sales Manager Responsibilities: 

•    To promote, sell and support products at existing and prospective customers. 
•    Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships. 
•    Develop sales through technical and commercial promotion. 
•    To manage the sales pipeline and funnel via the CRM. 
•    To manage and grow key accounts. 
•    Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction. 
•    Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule. 
•    To maintain and improve margins by managing the sales product mix. 
•    Supply senior management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitor activities, and potential for new products and services. 

Regional Sales Manager Candidate Profile:
•    The ideal candidate will need to have proven sales experience gained within wood coatings. 
•    Would also consider an experienced Spray Shop Manager/Sprayer looking for a change of career. 
•    Good working knowledge of wood coating and spray shop application processes would be advantageous. 
•    Ability to negotiate and sell within defined margins rather than selling by low price points to secure sales. 
•    Excellent communication skills. 
•    Strong interpersonal and relationship building attributes. 
•    Well organised and able to work on own initiatives. 
•    Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to succeed in a highly competitive market. 

Salary is in the region of £35,000 plus sales commission package which could reach £15,000 per annum. Company car, fuel card, 23 days holiday.
