You could already be working in a Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, Inbound Sales, Technical Sales, Sales Support, Marketing or Quotations position.

As a  Sales & Marketing Coordinator In this position you will find yourself speaking to customers over the phone and via email. You will support the customer with product knowledge (don't worry, this will be taught and can be obtained from the detailed system), followed by supplying the customer with a verbal or written (emailed) quotation. Once the customer has the quote, you either take payment for the goods and organise dispatch through the on site warehouse or you call the customer questioning if the quote was of any interest - followed by research questions surrounding price/availability. This role is based in Southampton.

You could already be working in a Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, Inbound Sales, Technical Sales, Sales Support, Marketing or Quotations position.
 
Ideally, this person will have a connection to the maritime environment, perhaps someone with a passion for being on the water as a hobby, a person working in a chandlery wanting the next step, or someone working in a maritime related business conducting similar activities. 

Duties and responsibilities of the Sales & Marketing Coordinator person based in Southampton:
 
(Sales): Speak to customers over the phone, via email and, should it be needed - face to face   
When speaking to customers, take accurate information enabling precise quotations (ideally a same-day turnaround)      
Focus on customer orders and deliveries are invoiced correctly      
Update any price changes on the in house system as and when required  
Follow up on quotations sent out
(Marketing): 
Attend trade shows when required 
Visit distributors and create / adjust current product stands maximising visual awareness
Work with the internal Marketing Team to assist with promotion of products
A good team player  

Qualifications and requirement for the Sales & Marketing Coordinator based in Southampton:
 
Driving Licence 
Full right to live and work in the UK essential     
Must Be able to travel and work in Southampton
