The Company
Our client is the UK subsidiary of a well-established, profitable and growing European Group which supplies a broad range of CNC, saw`s and cutting equipment to aluminium and PVC companies within the fenestration industry (mainly the window manufacturing industry).
Innovation and sustained New Product Development are core features, 70% of the company’s products are less than 10 years old. Building on the already successful growth of recent years, this individual will play a pivotal part in the development of new business in the Industrial and Fenestration Manufacturing sector.

Regional Sales Manager
Principal Accountabilities
- To develop end-user sales for the fenestration industry, Building Services Contractors and the industrial sector.
- To manage the accounts of existing customers in these sectors.
- To develop new business, building new end-user customer relationships.
- To optimise channel management for the appropriate markets, working with colleagues to ensure our clients brand is at the forefront of all machine purchase decisions.
- To secure a primary supplier listing for manufacturing equipment with our customers
- To achieve the sales budget for the region.
- To adopt solution selling skills to secure new business.
- To provide advice/product solutions to the end user.
The Candidate
- Will be highly motivated and a reliable self-starter. With experience in selling into the fenestration market (or similar).
- Some technical understanding will be required, although full training will be given.
- You will be used to working to targets and will have a strong and confident knowledge of products.
- The jobholder will have proven skills in developing customer relationships and will be adept at turning customer problems into solutions.
- The RSM will relish new business development, will enjoy the challenge of exceeding sales targets, and will be comfortable with ‘cold calling’ activities.
- You will hold a full, clean driving licence.
- The job requires the individual to be hands-on and demonstrate and train on equipment in a clear and confident manner.
- Experience in capital equipment sales would be an advantage or additional experience in hire and leasing would be desirable but not essential.
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record.
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Prioritising, time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
Terms of Employment
Salary
· The basic salary will be dependent upon the competencies and experience of the appointed candidate. £40k to 45k base salary depending on experienced + uncapped commission.
Company Car
· A fully expensed company car will be supplied commensurate with the position.
Commission
· The job holder will be entitled to a commission for all sales. (OTE Typically 65k+)
Holidays
· 25 days annual leave Employees are asked to make appropriate provision to allow for a close over Christmas and the New Year.
Hours of Work
· Working hours will be flexible to meet company requirements Mon-Fri (phone number removed).
