Key Responsibilities:
- Sell high-quality products to the architectural and construction sectors.
- Focus on generating and managing specifications with architects, design studios, developers, contractors, and installers.
- Split role: 80% new business development, 20% account management.
- Oversee projects of varying sizes, from design phase to on-site installation.
- Conduct CPD seminars as needed and maintain a strong project pipeline.
- Use CRM systems for reporting and analysis.
- Network with key decision-makers to drive brand recognition.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitors' activities.
- Ensure accurate, timely reporting on all business activities.
Personal Attributes:
- Experience in specification sales with architects and specifiers.
- Background in selling high-value or technical products to contractors.
- Strong existing relationships with architect practices preferred.
- Excellent people skills, clear communicator, and strong negotiator.
- Well-presented, punctual, and highly organized.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and driven to achieve results.
- Comfortable working autonomously with a disciplined project management approach.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong verbal, written, and numerical skills.
- Prior experience in a similar sales environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and reporting.
- Knowledge of the residential, hospitality, and commercial markets is desirable.
