The Role:

 

This is a great opportunity to join a high performing team as a Commercial Sales Executive. You will develop and grow the business strategy by driving the delivery of new key Commercial business sales and consistently meeting personal sales targets. To be successful at this role, you will be a driven and determined high performer with proven sales experience. You will be someone who can think laterally and look to develop new key markets in the local area and beyond. You will be fully supported through a comprehensive training programme, and once licenced in all relevant product lines you will be surrounded by colleagues and teams at Head Office who will support you in your acquisition of new insurance Business and associated products.

 

Responsibilities: 

·       To deliver the business sales strategy through the delivery of personal sales targets. This will involve planning, prospecting, selecting and selling NFU Mutual’s great Insurance products to Commercial business. 

·       To ensure targets and KPI’s are delivered.  

·       To keep up with market trends, analyse and evaluate relevant current/potential business customers. Analyse competitors and other information to identify opportunities for new sales generation and use this research to effectively plan and deliver sales and marketing activity. 

·       To enhance the wider business growth by proactively seeking opportunities for up selling and cross selling. 

·       To support marketing campaigns as appropriate, as well as attending shows and events, contributing to publications/other media, all in a way which is consistent with our values and ethos, positively contributing to the profile of the Agency. 

·       To consistently provide excellent levels of customer service in all interactions with potential and existing customers, delivering on promises, meeting their needs, and exceeding expectations. 

·       To always demonstrate high values of trust and integrity, acting as a positive role model 

·       To deliver ad-hoc projects as required, to support the delivery of business strategy and enhance customer experience. 

·       To be responsible for ongoing technical and professional knowledge and skills development to ensure compliance and the delivery of high performance.
