The Proposal Development Associate role is responsible for the delivery of winning proposals to pharmaceutical and biotech clients to support Managed Access (MA) business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Have a thorough understanding of the Managed Access (MA) environment and Clinigen’s service offering within this arena.
  • Work with MA proposals team, Business Development, Program Management, Marketing and support functions to create compelling proposals that effectively position Clinigen solutions to meet the needs of clients and prospects.
  • Support the daily proposal activities including requests for information (RFI) and request for proposal (RFP) process, from RFP analysis and requirements documentation, to solution definition, content provider identification, draft development, and final proposal production and delivery.
  • Manage several proposals simultaneously in a relatively high volume, dynamic and deadline driven environment.
  • Effectively manage the proposal process, from defining the solution and response strategy, to managing and reconciling input from subject matter experts, and ensuring final proposal is delivered on time and to specifications.
  • Undertake substantive editing and copy editing to ensure readability and consistency in formatting.
  • Maintain proposal database to ensure all material remains updated and is complaint with legal, licensing, branding and marketing positioning standards.
  • Ensure all proposals and subsequent versions are filed appropriately for access across the business.
  • Provide pricing for standard change order requests, record and track change orders on Salesforce
  • Attend bi-weekly MA Strategy calls and working with other proposals team members, chair these meetings ensuring SME attendance if outside of typical distribution list.
  • Continuous development and improvement of the proposal document and underpinning process.

 

Requirements

  • Excellent written English
  • Ability to write compelling solution based proposals in a collaborative environment.
  • Superior editing, proofreading, and writing skills.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Familiarity with sales process, including experience working with sales organisations.
  • Bachelor’s degree required with a preferred major in English, Communications, Journalism, or Marketing.
  • Experience of developing proposals and/or grants, utilising templates and proposal writing processes for solution service offerings preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment under critical deadline pressures.
  • Strong organisational skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with ability to learn independently, proactively search for information, and able to work with all levels of the organisation.
  • Hardworking and highly solutions focused.
  • High level of initiative with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
