As part of the future sales strategy, the company are now looking to recruit Business Development/Sales Manager who will be responsible for ramping up proactive sales, be actively involved in winning large accounts across the UK, leading and managing the existing Area Sales Managers providing training/coaching and development to maximise their potential whilst driving accountability. The ideal candidate will have excellent people skills, be experienced in a consultative selling approach and someone who can inspire and lead a team. [The Role]

  • You will report to the Sales Director, working closely with him as to strategies and goals
  • A hands-on position to  increase sales by onboarding larger new customers and by ‘growing’ our many existing customers
  • Oversee the activities and performance of the sales teams
  • Co-ordinate with the various teams as to lead generation work, promotions and marketing materials
  • Set and track, report and meet sales goals
  • Develop and lead, motivate and inspire the sales team to ensure the best results from their activities
  • Help develop and provide relevant training to support the sales team in achieving their goals
  • Utilise your experience to support with any potential large contract tenders

Requirements

  • Be relentless and passionate about hunting larger customers and growing existing customers.
  • Have experience in planning and implementing sales strategies and customer relationship management.
  • Have the ability to manage, enthuse and lead a diverse sales team.
  • Excellent people skills
  • Proven experience with operating a recognised CRM system (e.g. Salesforce, Hubspot, Netsuite etc).
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Completely loyal and trustworthy and willing to go the ‘extra mile’.
  • Completely believe in, uphold and promote the Company’s values and culture.
  • Have a good level of IT skill and understanding.
