Sales Consultant – Umbrella Payroll Solutions

My Liverpool based client who specialises in umbrella payroll solutions is currently in the market to recruit an experienced new business Outbound Sales Consultant with proven success at telephone and face-to-face selling to work from their amazing offices on Liverpool waterfront. You will be targeting directors and management of Recruitment Agencies in selling contractor payroll solutions so you need to be a credible individual capable of engaging at all levels.

This is a permanent office based role working standard office hours Monday to Friday with a basic salary up to £30,000pa DOE combined with an uncapped performance bonus.

JOB

  • You will be selling Contractor payroll solutions.
  • Through telephone and face-to-face selling you will be building relationships with recruitment agencies and end-users to manage their Contract staff payroll needs.
  • Advising Contract staff on the range of payroll solutions available within their employment market.
  • Build and develop relationships with customers at all levels via B2B calls and other various sales methods.
  • Pipeline management.
  • Updating, documenting and maintaining information in our CRM system.
  • Liaise with existing customers and internal departments to progress and build on their already strong relationships.

CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate would be expected to have a working knowledge and understanding of umbrella payroll solutions, so may currently be in Payroll Solutions sales or a Recruitment Consultant running a Temp / Contract labour desk, however they would also consider applicants who have a strong and successful background in outbound sales as full training will be given. Other suitable candidate requirements would be -

  • Have excellent spoken and written English, with great interpersonal skills.
  • Have experience in building, developing and managing your own sales pipeline.
  • Be goal and target driven with a fantastic attitude to qualifying leads and landing clients.
  • Experience of using CRM tools to help track customer engagement and follow-ups. Researching new potential leads for the business.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Possess Good IT Skills.
  • Ability to innovate and deliver under pressure.
