JOB: INTERNAL ACCOUNT MANAGER (not call centre!)

LOCATION: Crewe, Cheshire

SALARY: £25 to £28k basic salary, depending upon experience

25 DAYS HOLIDAY PLUS STATS; BONUS; MONDAY TO FRIDAY HOURS (no overtime/no evenings/no weekends)

My client, a well respected international engineering business, is seeking to recruit an Internal Account Manager to look after their larger, bigger-spending clients.

You will be very customer focussed and able to build great rapport with clients as you will be the person they turn to in order to help them. 

IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU ARE A UK NATIONAL FOR THIS ROLE AS IT IS A GOVERNMENT RELATED POSITION..

Ideally you will have a good technical telesales/internal sales/account management background. Sales or Telesales experience within an engineering environment would be desirable.

Working alongside the Field Sales Engineers, you will be office based providing a general support function.

There will be a degree of new business with a little cold calling.

You will be working on quotes and tenders

You will be following up quotes and tenders

You will be taking incoming calls as well as making outbound calls

You will be dealing with some queries and complaints as you will be the first point of contact for existing clients
