Internal Sales Specialist

Location: Downham Market – Office Based

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5 pm – during busier periods hours may be 8:15am – 5:30pm

Hourly Rate / Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

Benefits: 25 days holiday (rising to 28 days for long service) plus bank holidays, competitive salary package, contributory pension scheme, training for BASIS, crop inspectors and Seed Sellers (if needed), company car & laptop, and mobile phone provided.

Looking for an exciting Sales opportunity in the Agricultural & Horticultural industry? Our client is seeking a skilled Sales Executive to join their small but friendly team. As a Sales Executive, your responsibilities will include developing new customer relationships, using Microsoft Office Suite on a daily basis, inputting orders and customer data into company systems, and representing the company at trade functions. This role will develop over time with training and offer significant progression opportunities.

What your duties will look like:

  • Process sales orders and raise invoices.
  • Complete monthly sales reports
  • Providing estimated delivery dates to customers
  • Build and maintain new customer relationships with customers.
  • Manage and look after existing business relationships.
  • Plan and manage the company’s contract book.
  • Explore new product opportunities.
  • Keeping customer information on the system up to date with relevant information.
