Internal Account Manager

We have an exciting position available for a Internal Account Manager to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Cannock. The main purpose of this role is to ensure customer retention by providing an appropriate level of care for every customer through timely execution of account management administration, and to support and assist the external salesperson to accomplish the sales strategy for the territory. You will manage a base of Tier 1 customers and maintain an excellent relationship throughout their journey
Key Responsibilities:
- Load sales orders
- Resolve customer queries and complaints
- Complete account reviews in line with targets
- Assist with (or manage if appropriate) new opportunities arising from account reviews and f2f sales visits
- Carry out stock-counts and all other account admin required
- Carry out proactive customer contact activity to meet customer contact targets
- Book customer appointments for the external salesperson to meet customer f2f contact targets
- Produce sales reports
Requirements
- Proven experience as key account manager
- Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
- Experienced on Excel
