Import Internal Sales

We are working with a Medium Size forwarder, based in Basildon who are looking to recruit an Import Internal Sales.
Main duties of the Import Internal Sales:
• Manage and coordinate sales activities, including lead generation, prospecting, and client follow ups.
• telesales
• Build strong working relationships with existing import clients.
• Respond to customer inquiries (with in 24hrs), providing accurate information about our services, pricing, and delivery options.
• Follow up on all new business opportunities and sales leads, quotes, and negotiations, driving them towards successful closure within 24hrs.
• Provide accurate import quotations for sea/air & road enquiries.
· Negotiate ocean freight rates with overseas agents.
· Negotiate import haulage rates with shipping lines & Merchant own haulage (MOH) suppliers.
· Communicating with internal operations & commercial team if required
· Assisting external sales reps as & when required.
We are looking for someone with forwarding experience in the above field not operations or outside sales executive this is an Internal Sales Role
Monday / Friday 9am-5pm
Office based.
Salary depends on experience.
