The Company:
Our client is a well-established Commodity Trader

Main duties:
As a key member of the international sales & purchasing team (food division), you will be directly responsible for a portfolio of suppliers and customers throughout the world

The Role:

- Responsible for buying and selling food commodities
- Negotiating prices & maintaining relationships with suppliers and customers
- Arrange / control transport and logistics operations for international orders
- Contribute to generating income & control risks by performing standard trading work
- Liaise with logistics team regarding shipment & documentation
- Develop relationships with existing and new customers and management of sales
- Establishing commercial relationships with suppliers and customers across the world

The Candidate:
- Fluent in English (oral & written)
- Additional languages advantageous
- Confident, outgoing with good numeracy skills
- Background in logistics or Export is desirable
- Able to work under pressure and independently.
- Strong networking and interpersonal skills.

Salary: up to £55,000 pa DOE + Generous profit share
