Sales Account Manager Job in Christchurch

Salary & Benefits for the Account Manager:

  • Annual salary around £35 – 45k depending on the level you enter the business at. 
  • Company bonus paid annually at around 10% of your annual salary
  • Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm working hours

What you’ll be doing as an Account Manager:

  • Focus on growing existing clients, alongside generating new business to maximise the business’ portfolio and profitability
  • Work with all departments including product development and supply chain to ensure the pre-set customer strategy is met
  • Create sales plans and strategies for your designated accounts
  • Lead and plan the implementation of the new project
  • Ensure new project costings are checked and product specifications, packaging and recommended retail prices are correct
  • Review the performance of your accounts against your customer KPIs and targets
  • Come up with new ways to deliver gross margin, volume targets and value to customers
  • Manage a high volume of SKUs
  • Contribute to the wider sales team and support other colleagues with their accounts.  Share your ideas and help contribute to team goals and ambitions

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Prior experience in a sales focused position
  • A passional for sales
  • Excellent communication skills – enthusiasm and clarity
  • Passionate about the numbers – able to discuss ROI, targets, profit margins or costings
