Travel Sales Consultant

£23,000-£30,000 DOE

I am working with an incredibly exciting organisation, seeking a Sales Consultant to join their fast paced and expanding travel organisation! Based in the centre of Cheltenham, this a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for travel, to start their career within this exciting and growing industry!

Key Responsibilities:    

• Manage the progress of bookings from start to finish
• Designing tailor-made itineraries, working towards budgets and booking availabilities
• Contributing to team sales targets
• Negotiating rates with providers
• Reliably follow all company processes and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency
• To work in close partnership with the Sales Manager
• Preparing quotes
• Establishing client requirements and creating bespoke itineraries
• Maintaining accurate records on the reservation system
• Managing clients requests to the brief
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with a global clientele

The Candidate:

• Must have previous experience working within sales
• Previous experience within travel sales would be highly advantageous
• A passion for travel is a must!
• A good level of geographical and general knowledge of Europe is desirable
• Articulate and creative
• The ability to liaising with 
• Excellent knowledge of the luxury travel industry
• Experience working towards sales targets and achieving
• Must have an exceptional telephone manner and written communication skills
• The ability to build and maintain strong commercial relationships
