Location: Southend, Essex
Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 p/y + Discretionary Bonus

Join the team within a network of business centres offering flexible workspace and business support services to start-ups, SMEs, investors, and public sector organisations. As Business Centre Manager, you'll play a vital role in enhancing sales, community engagement, operations, and financial performance at this company's newest centre.
Responsibilities
- Profile and Reputation: Elevate the Business Centre's local, regional, and national standing.
- Relationship and Account Management: Foster collaboration with clients and partners.
- Operational Excellence: Deliver exceptional service, facilities, and staff training.
- Commercial Excellence: Drive financial and commercial performance.
- Secure contracts for centre space and network with potential customers.
- Implement local marketing initiatives in coordination with the central Marketing Team.
- Cultivate a collaborative community ethos within the centre.
- Provide financial management information, including billing and revenue collection.
- Monitor and report against financial targets, managing income and expenditure.
- Control cost lines and present annual budgets and revenue plans.
- Maintain building standards, cleanliness, health, and safety.
- Develop a culture of quality service and customer care.
- Ensure emergency procedures are in place and staff are trained accordingly.
- Manage recruitment, development, and coaching of the Centre Management team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and appraisals in line with company strategy.
Skills and Experience
- Ideally 1 years' experience in a Centre Manager or Hotel Management position.
- Strong networking and leadership skills.
- Budget and P&L management experience.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and completion oriented.
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
- Client and customer service focused.
Hours Of Work
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday - Friday
- 9am - 5pm
