External Sales Representative

£38k - £40k + £510 Company car allowance per month

Are you an ambitious sales professional with a proven track record in account management? My client is on the lookout for a dynamic individual to join their expanding team. As a key player in their sales force, you'll have the opportunity to leverage your experience, drive revenue growth, and shape the success of our organisation.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Observing and understanding the market to navigate with market trends and movements
  • Maintain and grow the business with current customers
  • Finding new business opportunities within the current strategic customer and product segments
  • Creating and being responsible for goals, budgets and KPI's for own area, which are ambitious and based on the potential in the region
  • Working out strategies and action plans to achieve the targets
  • Building long term cooperation within customer
  • Plan and visit customers
  • Prepare visit reports on weekly basis
  • Arrange customers receives relevant quotations and price list
  • Coordinate sales effort internally with Internal Sales Service, Operations and Finance
  • Work with the major customers on getting their forecast and review it with them minimum quarterly - create forecast/frame orders in Navision - maintain them to avoid overstock being created - be up to date on the monthly development on them.
  • Maintain customer relation, customer details, customer segments and market potential
  • Maintain competitor information - price, market share etc.
  • Identify and attend the best exhibitions and marketing material to increase sales and awareness in close corporation with the External Sales Manager, (you report to), Internal Sales Service and Group Marketing
  • Create awareness in the market in close cooperation with Internal Sales Service and Group Marketing.

Preferred Experience:

  • Strong background in sales
  • Ideally someone with account management who would like to progress into a business development manager role.
