PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

An opening for a Temporaries Business Consultant is now available – we need a driven person with a passion for recruitment who loves to work from home and is able to motivate themselves to do so. Carlton Recruitment have been in business for 25 years and have a fantastic name, reputation and very loyal, long standing team members. You will need to drive the new sales development and existing sales development for the Temporary Division. Developing and growing the temporary desk to the maximum.

Business Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

NEW SALES DEVELOPMENT

  • To drive all new sales development for the temp division
  • Enhancing a existing temporary desk offering out to a new client base on different sectors especially commercial clients
  • To increase the current client base by 50%
  • To identify new Clients and convert weekly and monthly
  • Work towards the agreed KPI’s both sales and financial and hit targets
  • Create a daily canvassing/sales system
  • Create a clean crisp customer top ten to develop
  • Work closely with the Perm Team exchanging leads and opportunities
  • To attend regular visits to both existing and prospect clients
  • Create a solid sales strategy
  • Introduce robust temporary processes and policies
  • Negotiate temporary pay and charge rates in conjunction with the Business Manager
  • Work with both PCs and communicate about the business needs effectively
  • Hook up regularly with both PCs to cross fertilise business and attend regular client meetings and presentations
  • Actively advertise and resource for skilled candidates
  • Work with a hot available list and keep updated and fresh
  • Understand how to run payroll
  • Work with all legislation AWR. GLA, PAYROLL etc
  • Resource and register all temporary candidates
  • Fill all temporary bookings
  • Create and modify CVs
  • Ensure that the database is kept up to date

EXITSTING SALES/MARKETING

To maximise on all current business and clients

Increasing temps out with existing clients

To make regular client relationship calls

To maintain contact and keep clients informed on all business actions

Resolve all client queries

Constantly strive to improve quality of service to both clients

Rebook all temporaries on a weekly basis asking for new contacts to gain more business

Regular – stay in touch drops and pop ins

Create and introduce marketing tools for both Clients and Candidates

COMMUNICATION

To communicate effectively with the whole Carlton team daily, weekly and monthly

To communicate with your Clients daily, weekly and monthly

To be able to write and present informal and formally to your clients regularly

To communicate with your Directors daily, weekly and monthly both verbal and written form

ADMINISTRATION

To manage a temporary work force making sure that all policies and procedures are adhered to and working to current legislation requirements

Keeping Aspire database up to date with every client account tracked and logged

Make sure that payroll deadlines are met

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Minimum of 3 years recruitment / sales development experience, face to face and by telephone

Full understanding of Word Packages and be computer literature

Strong command of English and be numerate

Car driver essential
