Position: Commercial Manager
Package: £50,000 - £55,000 pa + Car allowance + 10% annual bonus + Pension + Holidays
Hours: 40hrs (Mon-Fri)
Industry: Energy Management & Procurement, Utilities Services, Tennant rebilling
Location: Salford (just outside Manchester town centre)

My client are an energy management specialist specialising in procurement, bill validation, tenant re-charging, and energy reduction solutions for clients across the public & private sectors. Summary:
This is a new position created through growth of the business and commercial team/s. They are seeking an energetic and dynamic person. The ideal candidate will be from an energy sector background, or has experience in renewables, infrastructure, district heating, metering or engineering. As the Commercial Manager you will head up their commercial team which includes experienced account managers, sales people and customer service coordinators (approx. 20 direct reports). You will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial success and growth of our organization. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's commercial activities, including sales, business development, account management and client relationships. Your strategic vision, strong leadership skills, and business acumen will be essential in developing and implementing effective commercial strategies to achieve the company's objectives and maximize profitability.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (not essential)
- Proven experience in a similar commercial management role, with a track record of driving sales growth and profitability.
- Strong understanding of commercial principles, market dynamics, and business strategy.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and CRM software.
- Flexibility to travel as needed.
