Our client, an independent wholesaler of renewable energy products, is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Buyer to join their dynamic team.

As a Senior Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in procurement and supply chain operations.

Your responsibilities include sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to meet the company's operational needs while emphasising cost-effectiveness and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring the availability of quality products or services.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favourable agreements.
• Draft, review, and manage contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Collaborate with suppliers to address issues, improve performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Analyse prices and market trends to optimize costs.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure purchased goods or services meet specified requirements.

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role, within the Renewable Energy and Solar Industry.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective sourcing strategies.
• In-depth understanding of the renewable energy sector and knowledge of relevant products and technologies is a MUST.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favourable terms and conditions with suppliers.

Package:

Contract type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 Depending on Experience
