£25,000 - £28,000/annum + quarterly bonus

FTH Hire Group is one of the largest and fastest growing independent plant and tool hire companies in the UK, with ten depots across the South of England and Scotland. As a result of our ambitious growth plans, we are looking to add additional high calibre people to our growing business.

The Hire Sales Controller (HSC) role provides a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success as the business continues an exciting growth plan. This is a pivotal role working on the trade counter serving customers face to face as well as handling enquiries over the phone. You will be answering incoming calls from customers to make sales including upsell and cross sell, answering enquiries and questions, handle complaints and provide product information as required.

A background in the hire sector would be advantageous although not necessary, experience within a sales development environment role is essential.

Main job tasks and responsibilities:

· Answering inbound calls from both potential and existing customers

· Support the management and development of customer accounts through proactive approach and service delivery

· Identify and progress new business opportunities to support the achievement of company growth goals

· Provide quotations and identify cross sale opportunities to maximise the value we provide to our customers

· Plan and undertake proactive sales activity in line with business and internal sales goals

· Resolving customer queries quickly and effectively

· Provide customers with product and service information and advice where required

· Secure and manage orders at the trade counter

· Completion of all administrative work, as required

· To provide excellent customer experience

· Call centre/customer service experience (preferable)

· Ability to capture key customer information to input quality order
