The Client

The company specialise in Pet Food and Pet Nutrition.

We are looking for an experienced National Account Manager to join the company who have created this National Account Manager role because of growth.

The Role

• Responsible for management of W&D sales accounts in the defined channels as set by the Head Of Sales.
• Sales accounts include, but not limited to, leading Mainstream Grocery Retailers, Variety Discounters, Symbol Groups and Convenience Chains.

• Responsible for delivering overall sales revenue and gross profit targets within the defined accounts.
• Responsible for enhancing current customer base, developing customer relationships, increasing the company’s presence and share of business, and pioneering appropriate new target customers

The Candidate

• Previous National Account or Key Account Management experience
• Superior communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• First class organisational and planning skills
• Robust commercial acumen
• Ability to analyse and turn data into insight and plans
• Genuine interest in pets and importance of their health
• Sound working knowledge of pet nutrition desired
• Full UK driving license
