Recruitment Consultant – Construction

Gloucester

Basic salary £35,000 (Doe) plus guaranteed commission for first 6 months

Due to a solid and steady growth we are now recruiting for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to take the reins of a busy desk on the white collar perms team.  This is a 360 role where you’ll be given a warm desk with lots of existing clients so you can hit the ground running.

The role: This is an exciting and varied role where no 2 days are the same

Daily activities include:

Recruiting for permanent white collar candidates within your own geographical area

Building new and maintaining existing relationships with many blue chip companies

Visiting clients on site to understand their full requirement

Advertising roles on job boards and social media/Linkedin to attract suitable candidates

Pre-screening CV’s

Interviewing prospective candidates

Shortlisting qualified candidates

Arranging interviews between client and candidate

Delivering a high level of customer service to both client and candidate

Negotiating salaries

On-boarding candidates

About you:

Minimum 12 month’s Agency Recruitment experience ESSENTIAL!!

Ideally within the construction or engineering sector

Can demonstrate successful billings

Superb sales ability

Hungary for success

Self-motivated – doesn’t want micro-management

Enjoys the buzz of closing a deal

Driven by the desire to earn shed loads of cash

Must be able to drive and access to own vehicle
