Account Manager / Sales Engineer / Sales Manager is required to join a leading supplier of mechanical and electrical engineers located near Royton.
Account Manager / Sales Engineer / Sales Manager will come from an mechanical / electrical sales background, ideally within the materials handling or automation background.
Account Manager / Sales Engineer / Sales Manager will predominantly be officed based with regular visits to local customers so must be commutable Royton and surrounding areas such as Rochester, Haywood and Milnrow.

Role
- Act as the first point of contact for new business prospects and current clients, fostering strong relationships and understanding their needs.
- Source and develop new client opportunities within specific market sectors, leveraging industry knowledge and networking within in the material handling or automation background.
- Provide technical assistance to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Liaise with clients on new and ongoing projects, attending site meetings and collaborating with internal teams to deliver successful outcomes.
- Price new inquiries and develop project packages, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
- Coordinate with colleagues across the organisation to plan, mobilize, and install projects, maintaining high levels of quality and service throughout.
- Commutable Royton and surrounding areas such as Rochester, Haywood and Milnrow.
Requirements
- Mechanical, electrical, or process engineering background is essential.
- Ideally hold a minimum of an HNC or HND qualification, or equivalent experience.
- Strong engineering and technical acumen with a proven track record in sales or customer-facing roles.
- Experience in pricing, providing quotations, and preparing documentation packs.
- Knowledge of materials handling and automation sectors is advantageous.
- Must be commutable Royton and surrounding areas such as Rochester, Haywood and Milnrow.
