Membership Account Manager
Location: Bracknell
Salary: £32,000
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 8.30 am-5.00 pm and on Friday 8.30 am-4.30 pm (with one-hour lunch break)
My client in Bracknell is looking for a Membership Account Manager to join their friendly team. You will be building and nurturing the relationship with existing members as well as generating new business opportunities and bringing on board new members. They are looking for someone with strong relationships building skills who is able to cross sell and generate new business.
Responsibilities:
Support the Membership Manager to execute the member recruitment and retention strategy, contributing to the achievement of the revenue budget for membership.
Conduct effective competitor analysis for targeted development activities.
Develop incoming leads to secure a successful pipeline engagement of new members.
Execute the new member onboarding process to induct them on accessing and benefiting from the full range of services.
Build and nurture relationship with members to deliver a value message proactively encouraging the uptake of membership services.
Deliver a programme of membership meetings to include presentations to individuals and teams via TEAMS and other communication channels.
Undertake member meetings and communications to members to identify and develop cross-selling opportunities, including sponsorship.
Support the Membership Manager in delivering regular member engagement activities/events.
Participate in the annual renewals process, ensuring timely subscription collections.
Engage members during the resignation process to encourage retention.
Contribute towards member communications, including email correspondence, newsletters and welcome packs.
Gather member feedback towards the development of new member offerings that will develop the membership package.
Contribute to membership KPI’s, as required by the Membership Manager.
Maintain GDPR compliance when handling member data.
Ensure CRM system and member records are maintained and updated in accordance with procedures.
Ensure operational processes, procedures and policies are followed.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
Consultative selling and business development skills (essential).
Experienced in corporate membership environment (desirable).
Knowledge of the built environment (desirable).
Proven commercial acumen.
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
Presentation skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Driven and results orientated.
Excellent team working.
Experienced in building relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues.
Willingness to travel as and when required.
