We are recruiting for an Accessory Product Specialist to join our Tamworth based client.
You will be joining a manufacturer and distributor of genuine automotive Parts and Accessories, the company being a key subsidiary of one of the top 6 global automotive companies.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, your role will be to identify opportunities to develop and grow the accessory business.

£45,000 + Benefits

 Annual Lunch Allowance of £1610.00 per annum (this is in addition to basic salary)
 22 days holiday plus statutory Bank Holidays (after 2 complete holiday years have been served, an extra days' holiday is earned at the start of each subsequent year, up to a ceiling of 28 days)
 Hours - Monday to Thursday 09.00 - 17.30, Friday 09.00 - 15.00 with half hour lunch each day (total 37.5 working hours per week).
 6 month probation period.
 Other benefits after successful completion of probation - Life Assurance and Group Income Protection (subject to qualifying rules in force at the time), increased Employer pension contribution, eligibility in to our Car Scheme, Private Medical Insurance.
 Hybrid Working available after 26 weeks (subject to Manager's discretion)

The role:
Identify opportunities to develop and grow the accessory business
Work with all stakeholders to ensure accessories are available for launches
Work with and influence other businesses to maximise the accessory opportunity
Collaborate with all internal teams to share information and assist with problem solving
Keep up to date with market and competitor activity and trends to updates, guide and influence the business

Key Tasks:
To be the "Go To" for all accessory related items
Regular communication with the business on new accessory development
Coordinate requests for accessory development between departments and HQ
Produce sales forecasts for accessory business to support planning and forecasting
Look for synergies across the business to reduce complexity and cost
Assist Operations Team in supplier management and inventory management
Ensure pricing is completed on relevant products in a timely manner
Report and present challenges/opportunities to management

Experience:
Tangible experience in account or product management preferably in the accessory business
The ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels
Strong Excel & numeracy skills
Attention to detail
Ability to analyse and monitor performance
Active Team Player
