Clients and Markets Strategy Manager

Up to £50k + car allowance

Four Squared is representing our internationally recognised clients who are in search of a dynamic and outcome-oriented Clients & Markets Manager to lead local business development efforts. This role will sit within part of the National Business Development and Marketing team and requires close collaboration with regional stakeholders, utilising their expertise to boost growth and profitability via focused client engagement, bid assistance, and strategic event coordination.

The role

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive local business development activities in alignment with company-wide strategy.
  • Continuously assess the company’s brand, market reputation, expanding reach and relevant target audience, identifying sponsorship opportunities.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and intermediaries.
  • Manage local events from planning to follow-up, complementing national initiatives.
  • Conduct client care and account planning activities to nurture existing relationships.
  • Generate business opportunities with both new and existing clients.
  • Provide end-to-end support for the bid process, including document generation and bid debriefs.
  • Develop local thought leadership and PR content.
  • Assist the National Marketing team with marketing activities as needed.
  • Key Relationship Management and Coordination:

The candidate

  • Professional services business development experience, preferably in the accountancy profession.
  • Proven experience in bid-writing and client engagement.
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated team player with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Excellent organisational, project management, and time management skills.
  • Strong local network with intermediaries and chambers (preferred).
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite and experience with CRM systems (preferred)
