The Recruitment Bunker are recruiting exclusively for an Automotive Sales and Marketing Director for a leading group of companies based in Coventry.

As the Sales & Marketing Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness, increase market share, and drive revenue growth within the high net worth segment. You will lead and motivate a talented team to cultivate relationships with high-profile clientele, leveraging your expertise in luxury sales and marketing to drive success.

Responsibilities

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate and expand market share within the high net worth segment
  • Drive sales performance by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key clients, and maximising revenue streams
  • Lead the sales team to achieve ambitious targets, providing guidance, support, and motivation to exceed expectations
  • Utilise market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and opportunities for growth.

Marketing and Brand Development:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and plans to enhance brand visibility and prestige within the luxury automotive sector
  • Direct and collaborate with the creative team to develop captivating marketing materials, including digital content, print collateral, and experiential activations
  • Oversee and ensure the implementation of innovative marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, events, and partnerships
  • Ensure brand consistency and integrity across all touchpoints, maintaining a cohesive brand image aligned with the company's values and ethos.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with high-net-worth individuals, VIP clients, and key stakeholders to drive customer loyalty and retention
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company at exclusive events, luxury showcases, and industry gatherings to strengthen relationships and build brand prestige
  • Provide personalised service and bespoke solutions to meet the unique needs and desires of high-profile clientele, fostering long-term partnerships and advocacy.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Provide coaching, training, and professional development opportunities to empower team members to reach their full potential and achieve individual and collective goals
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment where creativity, innovation, and teamwork thrive, driving employee engagement and retention.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success as a director in luxury automotive sales and marketing, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a leadership role
  • Deep understanding of the high net worth market segment, with a network of high-profile clients and industry contacts.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable sales and marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at the highest levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams to achieve ambitious targets and optimise team performance
  • Passion for luxury automobiles, craftsmanship, and innovation, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
  • IT literate – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to and advanced level
