Circa £42,000 plus benefits package

This is an exceptional role for the right person that will see you working with OEM key account partners, in house manufacturing as well as others colleagues across the world. If you are a degree educated KAM with a Mechanical bent and have experience of tier one automotive process as well as the ability to manage and influence a cross functional teams with indirect authority, this is the role for you.

Job role / duties

•Responsible for business and relationship development between assigned customers and other commercial vehicle accounts as well as within the business
•Lead the Customer Focus Team (CFT) consisting of a Lead engineer and a Program Manager
•Retain current business and identify /win new business opportunities leading to revenue and profit growth within the accounts
•Build strong customer relationships within Key Account Program Management, Quality, Logistic, Purchasing and Engineering at OEMs
•Use available Business Tracking Tools for tracking status of activities ongoing at the key accounts
•Update and or create a customer roadmap from existing templates
•Develop, update and use tools such as vehicle roadmaps, customer organization charts and relationship matrices combined with product roadmaps to define account strategies focused on new business wins and to retain current business.
•Update the bookings plan for volume / price / product changes and be responsible for the definition of the yearly and 5 years budget goals and new business opportunities
•To lead all quotations, cash flow chart development from plant supplied cost calculations towards the customer with the Customer Focus Team
•Develop pricing strategies with the dedicated team members
•Support marketing activities
•Use Activity Tracking Tools for presentation of CFT Activity Status Review meetings

To be considered you MUST:

•Possess 5 years minimum Sales and / or Program Management Experience in Automotive Industry
•Have a technical background, ideally in Automotive
•Be a structured Account Management and an excellent strategist
•Have excellent presentation skills.
•Have been involved in product development, marketing and financing provide unique growth opportunities in a Global marketplace
•Be familiar with OEMs and Tier one's processes & projects in Central Europe
