HVAC Specification Sales Manager

Location: Home office / South Coast (Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey, Dorset, Wiltshire, Berkshire)

Contract type: Full time permanent

Salary: £50,000k - £55,000k

My client are a leading company in the HVAC industry, specialising in innovative refrigeration and air conditioning solutions such as VRF, Chillers, and AHU. As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a dynamic Sales Individual to support our business through a combination of account management and business development initiatives. The main aim of this role is to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth in collaboration with our direct and distribution Sales Teams. As a Specification Sales Manager, you will be responsible for effectively managing relationships with mechanical consultants, targeting new customers, providing product and project design support, and achieving sales targets within the allocated region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with nominated and geographical mechanical consultants.
  • Identify and target new/potential customers, particularly within M&E and Consultant sectors.
  • Promote and offer product and project design support to clients.
  • Achieve sales targets and develop new business opportunities.
  • Provide guidance on the correct use and application of our products.
  • Offer industry knowledge and guidance on legislation to ensure future protection.
  • Prepare regular reports on customer progress and highlight new business opportunities.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers to secure orders and develop enquiries.
  • Ensure customer requirements are met and provide excellent service.
  • Collect and report industry knowledge and competitor analysis.

Requirements:

  • Technical knowledge of VRF and split systems.
  • Strong sales background in HVAC, specifically VRF market dealing with consultants, M&E, and AC contractors.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Competitor knowledge.
  • UK Driving Licence.
  • IT literate with MS Office skills.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
