My client is a leading Vehicle Telematics and Vehicle CCTV business who are looking for a driven, customer-focussed and self-motivated Account Manager to join their team. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing accounts whilst maintaining revenue streams, managing the onboarding of new customers and also developing an extensive pipeline of opportunities. In addition, the Account Manager will need to be highly customer focussed with the ability to form strong and long-lasting relationships to secure long-term contracts with customers. The Account Manager will also be responsible for promoting my client’s products and services through conferences and events so keeping up to date with market knowledge and new and emerging technologies is essential.

Account Manager Package:

• Maternity cover – Fixed term contract
• £35,000 - £40,000 base salary
• 3 days a week in the office
• 25 days holiday

Account Manager Responsibilities:

• Support Senior Account Managers on project implementation.
• Manage and grow accounts whilst maintaining revenue streams.
• Manage the onboarding of new customers.
• Work with Internal Sales and Support Teams to maximise opportunities.
• Secure a number of ‘NEW’ telematic contracts.
• Develop an extensive pipeline of opportunities.
• Develop new opportunities in the SME market.
• Keep up to date with market knowledge and new technologies.
• Promote my clients’ products and services through conferences and events.

Account Manager Requirements:

• Account Management experience.
• Experience selling to senior management and SME business owners.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to consistently exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to sell complex solutions.
• Strong relationship building skills.
• Experience of Telematics, Optimisation or similar technologies.
• Previous experience in Automotive, Insurance, Fleet Management or logistics sales.
