We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a specialist professional services organisation based in Leeds.

This is a hybrid vacancy, offering an opportunity to become an integral member of the team.

The successful Business Development Manager will deliver strategic support in line with the company's business development strategy. You will lead key projects, whilst supporting with business development on a daily basis.

The role will be varied but key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting the implementation of marketing and business development activities for the team.
  • Supporting the creation and implementation of business development strategies and activities.
  • Monitor finances related to BD activity through investment proposals and marketing expenditure reports.
  • Be the key contact for the fee-earning teams.
  • Supporting the Head of Business Development and Events.
  • Building and maintaining relevant relationships.
  • Editing and maintaining content for the website, including preparing content and supporting colleagues with content.
  • Creating, editing, and maintaining content for social media across the firm.
  • Engaging with the planning of media content recording and creation.
  • Researching tender opportunities within suitable markets for relevant fee-earning teams.
  • Monitoring opportunities for press releases and case studies.
  • Coordinating with external resources to design advertisements, in both printed and online publications.
  • Ensuring all systems and weekly reports are updated accurately and completed on time.

About you:

  • Experience working in management in a Business Development function.
  • Outstanding organisation skills.
  • Experience of working in a professional services firm.
  • Experience of building relationships with internal stakeholders and external providers.
  • Experience of using social media platforms, X and LinkedIn.
  • Able to take instruction and work on initiative.
  • A desire and willingness to learn.
