Job Title; Technical Sales Engineer

Salary; £28,000 to £32,000 per annum plus bonus

Shift Pattern; 08.30 to 17.00 Monday to Friday

Location; Leicester

Our client has built a reputation as a leading supplier of engineering components to the industrial manufacturing sector. Due to continued and planned growth they are looking to strengthen their sales function.

Technical Sales Engineer Role;

• Convert inquiries into orders, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
• Identify and prospect for new potential customers within the industrial manufacturing sector.
• Conduct visits to prospective and existing customers to promote our brand, showcase our products, and provide engineering solutions
• Utilise telephone communication to reach out to prospective clients and maintain relationships with existing ones.
• Support the sales team by participating in exhibitions and trade fairs to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
• Travel throughout the UK to visit clients, approximately once or twice per week.

Technical Sales Engineer Candidate;

• Knowledge and experience from within the mechanical engineering sector.
• Engineering knowledge with the ability to understand engineering drawings and terminology.
• A passion for sales and building strong client relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the UK.
• Full UK driving licence
