Areas to be covered: Midlands & Wales

Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 + circa 20% commission paid quarterly

The role of the Business Development Manager – External Wall Insulation will involve:

• Field sales positions selling a high quality manufactured range of external wall insulation, renders, paints and plasters
• 60% of your time selling into builders merchants, independent merchants and buying groups such as: MKM
• 40% selling direct to applicators, installers, render contractors
• 70% new business 30% account management
• Targeted to turnover circa £1.5m
• Dealing with typical order values of £1k - £50k+
• Working in conjunction with the Sales Director and internal sales team

The ideal applicant will be an Business Development Manager – External Wall Insulation with:

• Must have field sales experience in the construction industry
• Must be from an associated product background for example: EWI, render, drylining, screed, plasters, mortars, insulation, facades, etc
• Must have sold merchants
• Ideally sold to applicators and installers however not essential
• Technical and on-site experience with building materials 
• Genuine ‘get up and go’, determined and tenacious, make a good impression
