YSA Education are seeking dedicated and compassionate youth workers looking to transition to work at a SEND Primary School across Bimringham. As a SEN teaching assistant, you will provide assistance and support to young people who require help with daily tasks and activities within a classroom setting and throughout their school day. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a residential setting
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build a rapport with clients
- Patience, empathy, and compassion for others
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Benefits:
- Typical full time school hours (08:30am-3:30pm)
- Long-term until the end of the academic year to permanent roles
- £85-£90 per day
- Optional team teach qualification (free of charge)
- DBS Refund
Requirements:
- DBS on the update service or willing to get one.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Experience working within a residential care setting, SEMH/PMLD/personal care
