Are you a highly motivated aspiring buyer/procurement manager with a background in the produce industry looking for varied role working with a globally renowned, hundred million pound business that offer training, progression and the future potential to represent them internationally?

Do you want to kickstart you career in sales and sourcing, working with all parts of the business in their busy office in the heart of Birmingham that boasts over 100 staff?

On offer is an exciting new opportunity for an aspiring buyer/procurement manager to join a thriving business that has gone from strength to strength for the past 60 years, starting as a small market stall and growing each and every year providing the UK with fresh produce.

In this role you will work 4 days a week from the head office in Birmingham and travel once a week to the office in Spalding. In order to qualify for this role you must have a full driver's license and your own transport. This role requires the successful candidates to liaise with clients and customers, developing and implementing strategy for profitable margins on produce.

The ideal trainee buyer/procurement manager will possess high level communication skills and be confident negotiating with a background in produce and food goods.

THE ROLE:

• Travelling to clients, negotiating the purchase of products
• Speaking with customers and stores across the UK
• Full on the job training to allow you to kickstart your career as a buyer/procurement manager

THE PERSON:

• Background in produce and food goods
• Must have full driving license and transport
• Local to Birmingham
