Cogent Staffing is Yorkshire’s premier recruitment provider supplying Industrial, Technical and Manufacturing candidates to the engineering, FMCG, fresh produce and industrial sectors on a Temporary, Permanent or Contract basis.

We are recruiting for an experienced Perms Consultant either office based or  hybrid working.

Cogent Staffing are keen to develop the perms recruitment side of the business and are seeking a candidate who can work with us to build a perms division. With this comes future progression in managing this sector of the business.

We are a company open to ideas and encourage any observed areas to be improved upon and new strategies to be implemented.

Role Responsibilities

You will be joining the company at a time when we do not have a designated “Perm Division”, although we work with and supply staffing support, including permanent placements, to upwards of 100 clients, it is crucial to know you will be required to generate and manage new business.

This will include:

• Developing business and new clients through networking, face-to-face meetings, campaigns
• Ensuring that as you grow the existing client base is developed and nurtured through strong communication.
• Meeting with prospective and existing clients to ensure the best client experience and engagement.
• Liaising with clients to fully understand their recruitment requirements and generating new business leads
• Be proactive in recruiting a pool of candidates ready to support your client’s requirements.
• Posting job ads on relevant job boards to attract candidates to fill roles, pre-screening potential candidates.
• Nurturing a strong candidate relationship and understanding of Be proactive in recruiting a pool of candidates ready to support your client’s requirements.
