Our client has an exciting opportunity within the Pre-Print & Coatings Business for the role of Technical Sales Manager focused on supporting the development of sales growth and service excellence. 

The Pre-Print & Coatings Business based in Corby, has a pedigree of delivering the highest standards of quality and service and offers a range of products from award-winning flexographic print to high-performance, sustainable barrier coatings. 

The role gives an exposure to working closely with our client’s European, National and Local Teams in finding both opportunities for added value sales development and for operational performance enhancement by using pre-print to unlock flow benefits within their sites. 

The role also requires direct contact with all elements of the packaging supply chain; Brand Managers, Design Agencies, Sales, and Procurement Leads and Convertors.

Whether project managing Group or end customer initiatives there is a need to demonstrate knowledge and guidance to assist their clients in arriving at the optimum solutions for both new business opportunities and current business.   

Full package includes car, competitive salary and pension with the role being part of the Management Team. 

Key job requirements 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, high flexibility, and a positive desire to collaborate.
  • A degree in Business, Design or Marketing background would be of interest. 
  • The business would equally consider candidates with 2-3 year’s work experience within either a Sales or technical background where inter-company business development was involved.
  • Business/Commercial acumen and financial awareness.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to use contemporary business systems to identify improvement areas.
  • An ability to use successful problem-solving techniques through to root cause.
  • Creative thinking and an ability to see projects through to conclusion.
  • Good organisational skills with an ability to manage own workload and priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written including one to one and group meetings including presentations.
