This National Account Executive role, with a successful food manufacturer supplying the major retailers, has seen significant growth in the last few years. The role will involve working on some of the major customer accounts and be a part of delivering further growth from emerging customers. Working closely with the Senior NAM to gain knowledge and experience whilst also having the freedom and accountability in your day-to-day role. A hybrid role with 1-2 days in the office per week.

Some of the key responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Senior NAM with management of major accounts - pricing, promotional activities and range changes.
  • Devising and interpreting report sales forecasts for internal reviews as well performance updates on products.
  • Alise with the development teams to help with product launches.
  • Attend and advise in regular review meetings with customers.
  • Understanding seasonal trends and being into the detail on what needs to change to be on point with those changes in demand from the end customer.
  • Being a trusted point of contact for the customer.
  • Working cross functionally to help drive commercial projects - developing relationships across the business.

What does your background would look like? You will be an upbeat and ambitious individual, someone who takes pride in outstanding relationship management, customer service and 'knowing' the category. Ideal experience so far will be:

  • Commercial exec or account management experience in food or FMCG supplying the major retailers.
  • Commercially and financially astute - market savvy and aware of the competition and category changes.
  • Ambitious and keen to develop your commercial career.
  • A strong team player and able to work autonomously off your own initiative.
  • Good with numbers, able to interpret data effectively.
  • Accurate with strong attention to detail - a good I dotter and T crosser!
