A Service Engineer is required to join a mechanical manufacturer based in the Cheltenham area. The role is part office based and part field based. You will be responsible for traveling to the customer site carrying out service and inspection work on their industrial mechanical products. When not traveling, you will be in the office writing up reports for customers and supporting the internal teams. You must be willing to stay overnight during the week. Someone from a rotating equipment, pipe or piping background would be of interest.

Service Engineer / Technician requirements. 

• Equipment Installation and Commissioning: Service engineers may be responsible for installing new equipment at customer sites and ensuring it functions correctly.
• Maintenance and Repair: They diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with equipment, perform routine maintenance to keep it in optimal condition, and repair any faults or malfunctions that occur.
• Customer Support: Providing technical assistance and support to customers, answering their queries, and guiding them on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of service activities, including service reports, repair logs, and parts inventory.
