JOB PURPOSE 

The role of the Used Car Manager is to:

Lead and drive Used car performance through management of staff and OEM/Site KPI’s. In this role you will lead the used car team giving staff and clients guidance and direction with all matters Used car orientated. You will need to motivate the team to create a client first approach whilst carefully managing Stock , ensuring compliance and working to achieve and exceed manufacturer requirements and profitability.

Review JLR communications and action appropriately with the team.

Manage the Harwoods journey sales process and ensure clients are updated while ensuring vehicle ordering is prompt and up to date.

Support client journey through dealing with the Used car sales process and provide aftersales support.

Support the admin functions to ensure Due diligence is completed.

Work with the exec team to provide training and coaching on Used vehicles.

Manage Used car stock by maintaining and purchasing used cars from various approved sources and ensure PPU and financial performance in the department.

Ensure all Used car processes are up to date and imbedded.

Ensure the retail centre Used car display physical and digital meets brand standards.

To work with and support when required the TM team to drive profitability utilising P360 , salesforce, Pinnacle and JLR data to drive performance and create opportunity and sell new vehicles.

To assist with Client concerns and support HOB in maintaining high client satisfaction in line with JLE expectations.

Manage the team and conduct one to ones , activity reviews and any actions required from these measures

Support Admin / SPS and additional roles to enhance and support the sales department.

Skills & Requirements

Ability to motivate and manage a team.

Excel skills required.

Well presented and clear communicator.

Time efficient and organised.

Knowledge of JLR range.

Experience

Desirable

3 years sales experience minimum.

1 year experience in leading a high performing team.
