Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a leading manufacturer of Mechanical Power Transmission.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will be located in or near Home Counties (Herts, Beds, Bucks), selling and managing key accounts within the mechanical power transmission sector via distribution channels and OEM customers.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager must have experience selling, servicing or managing accounts within the mechanical power transmission industry, such as, bearings, couplings, drives, motors, gearboxes, chains, pulleys, belts, hydraulics, pneumatics, and, or similar MRO / Mechanical Power transmission Engineering products and systems.
 
Package

• £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience

Area Sales Manager/ Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role

• Managing key accounts within the mechanical power transmission sector via distribution channels and OEM customers
• Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling mechanical power transmission products, such as bearings, couplings, gearboxes, motors, drives, belts, chains, pulleys and similar MRO / mechanical power transmission products.
• Maintaining new mechanical power transmission sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
• Liaise with various engineering departments.
• Fully remote, covering home counties and Midlands.

 
Area Sales Manager/ Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements

• Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within the Mechanical Power Transmission Industry.
• Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable company.
• A technical qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
• Experience selling or managing key accounts within the mechanical power transmission industry, such as, bearings, couplings, drives, motors, gearboxes, chains, pulleys, belts, hydraulics, pneumatics, and, or similar MRO / Mechanical Power transmission Engineering products and systems.
• Full clean driving license.
