As a Sales Team Leader, you will lead a small, office-based sales team focused on making outbound calls to secure work for their range of services. The role is office based from their Head Office on the outskirts of Liverpool.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Team Leader to manage a small sales team and drive sales growth in our target markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and achieving sales targets, managing key client relationships, and optimizing the effectiveness of the sales team. This role requires strong leadership skills, a proactive approach to sales management, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a small, office-based sales team to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  • Develop effective sales strategies to generate leads, close sales, and maximize revenue.
  • Manage relationships with key clients, including negotiating contracts and addressing client needs and concerns.
  • Own and achieve personal sales targets, also supporting the team in achieving sales objectives.
  • Monitor team performance against targets and provide coaching and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the sales team operates in the most effective way to drive sales revenue and growth.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up on leads to drive conversions.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track sales metrics and prepare regular reports on team performance, sales trends, and forecasts.
  • Work closely with the Operations Director and other departments to align sales efforts with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to optimize sales

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in sales, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with strong team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of the air conditioning industry or related sectors is preferred but not essential.
  • A positive attitude, resilience, and a passion for driving results in a fast-paced environment.
