We are working with an established precision engineering company based in Cannock.  They are recruiting for a Buyer to join their team on Days (Mon-Fri) in return for a salary in the region of £40,000 - £45,000 along with overtime opportunity and additional training and development.

The Buyer needs to possess a background in buying within a purchasing team ideally from within a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Placing orders for products and supplies
• Managing timelines for deliveries
• Further developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and customers
• Travel to customer sites

Qualifications & Experience required:

• Proven and demonstrated experience working in a buyer role (or similar)
• CIPS qualifications (Desirable)
